Whimsical SLC-Based Interior Design Shop Adds Landscape Division Creating an End-to-End Design Collective
Through its union with Land Design by Armstrong, Lisman Studio aims to help the Mountain West bring inspiration to life, creating holistic residential and commercial designs that stretch beyond clients’ four walls.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (March, 2024) - In a deal that’s nearly a year in the making, SLC-based design mainstay Lisman Studio is joining forces with Land Design by Armstrong, an equal in its consistent presence in the region’s landscape design community. The deal brings two award-winning teams together under a single roof. It opens up a new world of possibility, at the ready to steer InterMountain West’s most inspired residential and commercial development projects.

These organizations are bursting with amazing talent and the capacity to act as real partners to residential and commercial clients, using their expertise to elevate ideas, focus vision, and realize dreams,” says Molly Louthan, CEO and visionary behind the deal. “In the coming months, we’ll unveil a new joint venture grown from these sturdy design shops. Over the next six months, the deal will have very little day-to-day impact on clients from both organizations. Lisman will continue the move to its new office, which is just steps from the current location in Midvale and double the size. The organization is also continuing to add designers to its commercial, multi-family, and residential teams. On the Land Design side, the 40-person team will join Lisman in the new office space this fall.
